Hey man, i really like the way you approach the oly lifts. I recentrly changed from powerlifting to olylifting, and I'm having lots of problems with my technique, and what exercises use to develop a better lift based on my weakness. Could u talk about some drills you'd use for that, and how to select exercises to people who are already strong, but you know, are new into this sport.

Thanks.

Huh? I don't understand how you would do that John.

If I have a weak back, I'll choose to change the hip height and angle to load my hamstrings and lower back more. I'll switch my tempo to a 4-1-4 tempo and do 8-10 reps, for 6-8 sets. If my posterior delts are weak, I'll do more face pulls, shrugs, bent over lateral raises, rows for like, a billion reps over 2 sets.

No way of telling. I thought he was from Northern Ireland. My mistake.

Nothing can be told if he squats and deadlifts 300kg. Like I said in the video, I know a 440KG squatter that cleans only about 235KG. It's all about the weakness.

At his current strength level, his weak spot is his lower back. Once his back catches up with his legs and his technique improves, only then can we tell what will happen.
